When you first join the chat, you are logged in as a normal user, without any permissions. To become operator
or administrator, use the /pass {password} command. You must know the administrator or operator
password for the chat server.
Most of the commands are available through the user list context menu. For example, to kick a user, an operator
would click their name and slect Kick from the menu.
Commands available through the context menu:
Warn- Warn a user.
Freeze- Prohibit a user from chatting (lasts 1 minute).
Kick- Kick a user out of the chat (or out of the room, when used by room owner).
Ban- Ban user's host and nickname.
Whois- Display user information including IP address.
Commands that you type directly into the chat input field:
/pass {password}- Become an administrator or operator.
/user- Return to regular user mode.
/ping- Ping the server and print out the round trip.
/stealth- Become invisible/visible to users.
/bc {message}- Broadcast a message to all users in all rooms.
/moderate- Moderate a room; see the Moderator section for details.
/highlight {nickname}- Highlight a guest speaker in a moderated room;
